Imagine Book Cover

Project: Cover design, Photography, Typography, Layout design. 2014

Objective: "What if your favorite music album was a book?"  Pick a music album, create a story line and design a cover for it.

Concept:  I chose to recreate a music album "Imagine" of my favorite DJ Armin van Buuren. At first I wasn't sure what genre my book was going to be. 

One day I was walking on the Golden Gate Bridge and saw the lock with two names attached to the fence. A dramatic love story immediately came to my head.

I chose the black and white color scheme with one bold red element to indicate that it's a romantic thriller novel.

Fun fact: Armin van Buuren shared my design on his offical Facebook page and got over 16,000 likes, over 400 shares and over 200 comments.
